Today’s Action Item…Reflect on whether you are adorning yourself with a wedding garment for the Great Banquet.

Today’s verse…

May the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ enlighten the eyes of our hearts,
so that we may know what is the hope that belongs to our call.

Bishop Barron’s Sunday Sermon – The Invitation Has Been Offered

Today’s prayer…

My King and Bridegroom of the Church, the Mass is Your Wedding Feast and a foretaste of the eternal Banquet of Heaven. You invite us to this Feast not only in body, but with hearts recollected, minds engaged, and souls prepared by grace. May I always respond to Your invitation with faith and love, and celebrate the Holy Mass with all my heart, clothed in the garment of sanctifying grace. Jesus, I trust in You.

My Prayer…

My God and Abba Father, Jesus my Lord and Savior, Holy Spirit my counselor and advocate, hear my prayers. I thank You for this day and every blessing! Guide me, teach me, help me, to avoid the things You don’t want me to do, and to do things You want me to do.

Continue to bless each of mine, and protect them from evil, and causing any pain. Teaching them in Your ways and showing them Your truths. Help them to trust in Your promises, and let them feel Your presence.

I pray for all of mine that have passed on to be with You. Pour forth Your mercy upon them so that they may be counted among the saints in Heaven. Bless and heal those still grieving.

I pray for those who are ill and or facing health issues and addiction; physical, mental and spiritual. Give them the strength they need to take control of their health, and make the necessary changes needed for a healthy lifestyle anchored in You.

I pray for those facing trails, tribulations and change. Show them Your face so they may feel Your presence, and know the peace and hope that comes from walking with you.

I pray for the persecuted and homeless, and the children. They face challenges beyond their control or ability to change, many have been and are being abused, neglected and trafficked and lacking proper care and having special needs. Mother Mary pray for them, Lord Jesus rescue them.

I pray for a true awakening and revival. One that unites us, Church and Country in Your name and readies us for Your return. Always vigilant! Help us stop the tribalism and wokeness that divides us.

I pray for Your Church and it’s leaders – Pope Leo, President Trump, Bishops – Barron, Strickland, Viganò, Priests – Father Octavio, Father Mike, Monsignor McCormick, and all the Bishops, Priests, Deacons, Seminarians, Ministers and laity, Awaken their hearts and souls to follow Your truths and the righteousness of being a good Shepherd, the importance of good stewardship and service to others. Help them avoid the evil of corruption, power greed and lust, shielding them from temptation.

Not my will, but Yours Lord God.
