Abba, Father, Lord God, thankful for yesterday, grateful for today, I come to You with a humble mind learning to walk by and see with eyes of faith knowing without You I can do nothing and with You all things are possible; a heart that is always willing to die to itself in the hope that each time it rises more likened to that of Jesus; and a spirit hungry to know itself and in doing so grow closer to You. But the Pharisees said, "He casts out demons by the prince of demons." And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every infirmity. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest."

For while I do not know why or how, I know You are at work in me, and Your hand is guiding me day by day; so mine is to be alert to You in practicing Your presence and expecting Your will be done on earth as it is done in heaven; and my heaven on earth is knowing that work that I do is according to Your will and that l have set my house to seek and follow my Lord Jesus in the Spirit as You have planned. O Lord God that You would continue to bless me and mine, enlarging our territory while keeping us from evil and from causing pain by walking in faith, seeing with hope, and showing love for all others first. For You know my intent is not to ask for that which is not Your will, but to seek Your will, and to ask for Your help in accepting, understanding and learning how to put each event and thing to use and work for You. To trust only in Jesus and to become one in the Spirit with Him and You; so guide my thoughts, words and actions accordingly today, letting faith be what feeds me, hope what drives me, and love what comes forth from me. And Jesus said to them, "Can the wedding guests mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? The days will come, when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast. And no one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch tears away from the garment, and a worse tear is made. Neither is new wine put into old wineskins; if it is, the skins burst, and the wine is spilled, and the skins are destroyed; but new wine is put into fresh wineskins, and so both are preserved."

Guide us through the days to come, protect us, touch our hearts with the blessings within this day, the moment we are in, free from yesterday and all of its chains, hurts and pains; aware that one moment with You is better than a thousand without You. In and with faith help us to not to lose today in yesterday, but with and in hope find promise for tomorrow today, and let love, unconditional love be the image of Jesus we become and reflect to light the way for us all to see what we are in and with You.
