One Walk under the Sun with the Son
My Daily Prayers and Readings for 8/31/2013
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.

Lord God I confess that some days I would rather not be so very dependent on You. But then I am reminded that truthfully I don’t have all the answers. I need Your presence and perspective. I want to see what You will do today as I humbly depend on You. 1 So I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying on all occasions for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert to always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
