My Daily Prayers and Readings for 11/22/2013
The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you.

Abba Father through the Holy Spirit within me I am connected with You in the consciousness of the moments. I feel the overshadowing of self and the presence of Jesus Christ within me. I fight for there to be less of me and more of 
You in those moments, but it is not easy. I consciously find my mind and heart at odds with myself and those in the moment. In that instant, I must call upon Your power to overshadow my will to give way to Your will. I must fight off all that I think I know, to do what I do not know. I must have eyes of faith and a pure heart, with a steadfast spirit. I must have more of You and less of me to let go of what I think and have done, to do what You will for me. Trusting You completely. I must turn to Jesus, so His peace will be with me. To ease the fear of unknown and loosen the knot of stress I feel in my heart. Remembering that I choose one walk and to try and love You and others first, as You love me, even if I get nothing else done. I choose to pray without ceasing on all occasions for me and mine to fulfill Your will. I choose to find away to always pray for those You place in my path, even if they mean me harm. And I always ask that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
