Lord God I pray that You will bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will, and that You will help me stay plugged into Your power through the Holy Spirit as I pray without ceasing for mine and those You place in my path. Give me eyes of faith and a heart likened to Jesus’. Help me put on Your armor so that I will stay strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 02/17/2014

The Armor of God

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

Lord God, through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. For my one walk in and with You, as a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power by putting on Your full armor.(r or l) Praying through the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Lord God through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Free of judgement and full of faith, hope and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying without ceasing for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk through Jesus. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Abba Father through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Free of of worry, fear and judgement the things created under the sun. Full of forgiveness and love whose source is the Son. Strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Praying through the Spirit in Jesus name for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.

Abba Father through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I turn to You for refreshing, so that You can create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. To meditate on Your Word and my one walk in and with You. To reflect on the past week and get ready for the week to come. To free myself of any judgement except for Yours of me and to fill myself with forgiveness and love. To get strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) To remember that each day means nothing unless I spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. To pray through the Spirit in Jesus’ name for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and for those You have placed in my path. To ask that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will be able to fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk in Jesus. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

[ Love for Enemies ] “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

And he said, “If now I have found favor in thy sight, O Lord, let the Lord, I pray thee, go in the midst of us, although it is a stiff-necked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thy inheritance.”

Lord God, for I am stiff-necked, easily distracted and stuck in my ways. But through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I keep coming to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Praying on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine to fulfill Your will. Being alert to always pray for those You place in my path. Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
