My Daily Prayers and Readings for 03/10/2014

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

< >< My Prayer >< >

One Walk BracleetLord God, You have blessed me indeed and I have felt Your hand in my life more than once. I come to You as Your humble servant, asking that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me for my one walk in and with You. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l)  Ready to serve and remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying through the Spirit all occasions in Jesus name for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Anxiety is the greatest evil that can befall a soul, except sin. God commands you to pray, but He forbids you to worry. Hope in Jesus!

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 01/08/2010

< >< My Daily Prayer >< >

Abba Father, blessed be my Lord Jesus, to whom I turn too and who through I learn to come to You, to know and understand You in the Spirit, as one Lord God the Abba Father, the Christ Son and the Holy Spirit setting me free from myself and the hand of others walking under the sun, rather than in and with the Son, free to worship You without fear, walking  righteously in Your sight all the days of my life; joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

Walking One Walk in all things to honor and praise You; always praying that Your light and work within me be visible to others and that these prayers and sharing of readings of Your word would touch someone today. Asking that You guide and direct my work for Your good and the good of others. Helping me to avoid being anxious about what to do or when to do it, but to trust in You and do my best in each moment in line with Your will.

In Jesus name I ask and pray, that You bless me and mine for fulfillment of Your will and that You create in me a clean heart, renew a right spirit within me, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

January – For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Today – SOFTLY I ANNOUNCE My PRESENCE. Shimmering hues of radiance tap gently at your consciousness, seeking entrance. Though I have all Power in heaven and on earth, I am infinitely tender with you. The weaker you are, the more gently I approach you. Let your weakness be a door to My Presence. Whenever you feel inadequate, remember that I am your ever-present Help.

Hope in Me, and you will be protected from depression and self-pity. Hope is like a golden cord connecting you to heaven. The more you cling to this cord, the more I bear the weight of your burdens; thus, you are lightened. Heaviness is not of My kingdom. Cling to hope, and My rays of Light will reach you through the darkness.

Reading I
1 Jn 5:5-13
Beloved:
Who indeed is the victor over the world
but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

This is the one who came through water and Blood, Jesus Christ,
not by water alone, but by water and Blood.
The Spirit is the one who testifies,
and the Spirit is truth.
So there are three who testify,
the Spirit, the water, and the Blood,
and the three are of one accord.
If we accept human testimony,
the testimony of God is surely greater.
Now the testimony of God is this,
that he has testified on behalf of his Son.
Whoever believes in the Son of God
has this testimony within himself.
Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar
by not believing the testimony God has given about his Son.
And this is the testimony:
God gave us eternal life,
and this life is in his Son.
Whoever possesses the Son has life;
whoever does not possess the Son of God does not have life.

I write these things to you so that you may know
that you have eternal life,
you who believe in the name of the Son of God.

Responsorial Psalm
147:12-13, 14-15, 19-20
R.  (12a)  Praise the Lord, Jerusalem.
Glorify the LORD, O Jerusalem;
praise your God, O Zion.
For he has strengthened the bars of your gates;
he has blessed your children within you.
R.        Praise the Lord, Jerusalem.
He has granted peace in your borders;
with the best of wheat he fills you.
He sends forth his command to the earth;
swiftly runs his word!
R.        Praise the Lord, Jerusalem.
He has proclaimed his word to Jacob,
his statutes and his ordinances to Israel.
He has not done thus for any other nation;
his ordinances he has not made known to them. Alleluia.
R.        Praise the Lord, Jerusalem.

Gospel
Lk 5:12-16
It happened that there was a man full of leprosy in one of the towns where Jesus was;
and when he saw Jesus,
he fell prostrate, pleaded with him, and said,
“Lord, if you wish, you can make me clean.”
Jesus stretched out his hand, touched him, and said,
“I do will it.  Be made clean.”
And the leprosy left him immediately.
Then he ordered him not to tell anyone, but
“Go, show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing
what Moses prescribed; that will be proof for them.”
The report about him spread all the more,
and great crowds assembled to listen to him
and to be cured of their ailments,

but he would withdraw to deserted places to pray.
