My Daily Prayers and Readings for 12/04/2013

She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.

< >< My Prayer >< >

Lord, when the days are long and I don’t see change happening, remind me to stay faithful to You and to following Jesus’ model of leadership. Give me words of wisdom to speak; keep me from speaking out of frustration. Weed out anything in my life that contradicts Your message of humility, confidence, and serving in Jesus’ name.1 Keep my heart pure, and my spirit steadfast for my one walk with You. As a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying through the Spirit on all occasions for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert to always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 12/03/2013

My speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power . . .

Lord God through Jesus I must deliberately give my life to You, so that You can use me as Your hands and His feet. It is not always easy, and I must remain conscious in the now of each moment not to give way to the ways under the sun, but instead follow the Son.1 With a pure heart, and a steadfast spirit I prepare for my one walk in and with You today. As a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, I choose to spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. With eyes of faith. Praying through the Spirit on all occasions for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert to always pray for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

He who walks with integrity walks securely.

Abba Father help my word be true. Help my actions be honest. Help my life to reflect Your holiness and shine God’s light for all to see. Help me to live with integrity. I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a teadfast spirit within me. For my one walk in and with You today, as a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying through the Spirit, in the name of Jesus for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert to always pray for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. “Who am I, Lord God, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far?

Lord God who am I and what is my family that You have blessed us so much. My heart is filled with gratitude and my soul only desires to serve You in a way that makes Your presence within me visible to all. This is why I start each day with You. First I seek that You will create a pure heart within me, and renew a steadfast spirit for my one walk with You. As a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Next I Word to stay strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Then I focus on praying without ceasing through the Spirit on all occasions for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will, and for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Yet the news about him spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.

Lord Jesus, give me the same urgency for connection with the Father that characterized Your life. I can’t be who You’ve called me to be publicly without an ongoing, intimate relationship with You privately. Fill me up so I can freely give.1 Create a pure heart within, and renew a steadfast spirit for my one walk in and with You. As a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying through the Spirit on all occasions for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert to always praying for those You place in my path. Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters . . . , so our eyes look to the Lord our God . .

Lord God I look to You in the morning, help me stay focused on You throughout the day. Relying on You and Your strength, not mine.1 With eyes of faith, I come to You knowing You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. With these same eyes of faith help me stay focused through this day. One walk, as a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Confident in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying in Jesus name on all occasions for me and mine to fulfill Your will. Staying alert to always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.

Lord God You have called me to be a witness for You wherever You have placed me. Every day my life is on display. Help me to live in such a way that others will want to know You and the abundant life You offer.1 Let my one walk be filled with confidence of the Holy Spirit guided by eyes of faith. Grounded by a pure heart likened to Jesus’ and a steadfast spirit. As a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Knowing that even if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying through the Spirit on all occasions for me and mine to fulfill Your will. Staying alert to always pray for those You place in my path.
