My Daily Prayers and Readings for 09/02/2013

Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve.

Abba Father with Jesus as my example1, I come to You through the Holy Spirit, so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. For my one walk in and with You today, as Your servant and a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying on all occasions for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert to always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left.

Abba Father through the Holy Spirit within me I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. With open ear and a heart after Your heart. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) One walk, remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying through the Spirit, in the name of Jesus on all occasions for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Alert to always pray for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – Your promise. 1 In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 08/24/2013

Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose. Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others. Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God,did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men.

For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Lord God through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to You so that in Your presence You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. I begin by “bowing” my heart before the You and surrendering everything.1 For my one walk in and with You today, as a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power.(r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying in and through the Spirit and in the name of Jesus on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert and always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel. Now as they were traveling along, He entered a village; and a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home. She had a sister called Mary, who was seated at the Lord’s feet, listening to His word. But Martha was distracted with all her preparations; and she came up to Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to do all the serving alone? Then tell her to help me.” But the Lord answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things; but only one thing is necessary, for Mary has chosen the good part, which shall not be taken away from her.”

Abba Father I start my day by coming to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Freeing myself from any judgement of others and filling myself with forgiveness and love, as You forgive and love me. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power.(r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me.1 Praying in and through the Spirit and in the name of Jesus on all occasions, with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert to always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel.
