One Walk

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 03/17/2013

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.

Lord Jesus, You are my shepherd. I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within us. For our one walk in and with You today, as channels of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power, by putting on Your full armor by standing firm with the belt of Your truth buckled around our waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with our feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. Taking up the shield of faith, with which we can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one who lurks in each moment waiting to separate us from You. Wearing the helmet of salvation and carrying the sword of the Spirit, which is Your word. Praying in through the Spirit and in the name of Jesus on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert and always praying for those You place in our path. Asking that whenever we speak, words may be given to us, so that we will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel.(r or l) Remembering that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Abba Father through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within us. Filled with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience for our one walk in and with You today. As channels of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. My Daily Prayers and Readings for 03/14/2013

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 03/09/2013

He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,

Abba Father through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. For from here I see things differently, clearer and I am reminded that all I am and can be is by Your grace and grace alone. For if I am to have our one walk in and with You each day, as a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. I must give way to You and let Your grace rain down on me. Letting go of earthly things and goals. So there is less of me and more of You. I must stay strong in You and Your almighty power, putting on Your full armor by standing firm with the belt of Your truth buckled around my waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with my feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. Taking up the shield of faith, with which I can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Putting on the helmet of salvation and carrying the sword of the Spirit, which is Your word. Praying in through the Spirit and in the name of Jesus on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will.
