My Daily Prayers and Readings for 11/23/2013

clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.

Lord God You have called me to be a witness for You wherever You have placed me. Every day my life is on display. Help me to live in such a way that others will want to know You and the abundant life You offer.1 Let my one walk be filled with confidence of the Holy Spirit guided by eyes of faith. Grounded by a pure heart likened to Jesus’ and a steadfast spirit. As a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Knowing that even if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying through the Spirit on all occasions for me and mine to fulfill Your will. Staying alert to always pray for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 11/22/2013

The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you.

< >< My Prayer >< >

Abba Father through the Holy Spirit within me I am connected with You in the consciousness of the moments. I feel the overshadowing of self and the presence of Jesus Christ within me. I fight for there to be less of me and more of You in those moments, but it is not easy. I consciously find my mind and heart at odds with myself and those in the moment. In that instant, I must call upon Your power to overshadow my will to give way to Your will. I must fight off all that I think I know, to do what I do not know. I must have eyes of faith and a pure heart, with a steadfast spirit. I must have more of You and less of me to let go of what I think and have done, to do what You will for me. Trusting You completely. I must turn to Jesus, so His peace will be with me. To ease the fear of unknown and loosen the knot of stress I feel in my heart. Remembering that I choose one walk and to try and love You and others first, as You love me, even if I get nothing else done. I choose to pray without ceasing on all occasions for me and mine to fulfill Your will. I choose to find away to always pray for those You place in my path, even if they mean me harm. And I always ask that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 11/21/2013

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at last you have revived your concern for me; indeed, you were concerned before, but you lacked opportunity. Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 11/16/2013

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God. And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Abba Father give me eyes of faith for my one walk in and with You today. As a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. An example of Your presence within me. Create a pure heart within, and renew a steadfast spirit. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying through the Spirit, in the name of Jesus for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Staying alert to always praying for those You place in my path. My Daily Prayers and Readings for 11/14/2013

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Lord Jesus I open my heart to You, asking You to fulfill Your purpose in me and mine, that we might have life through You and have it to the fullest through the Holy Spirit within us. Here each morning in this time with You I can feel Your words as they draw me closer and closer to You. The closer I get the more I feel You creating a pure heart within me, and I don’t want to leave until my heart is likened to Yours. Here You renew a steadfast spirit within me for my one walk in and with You today. As a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Knowing that if I get nothing else done this day, I need to spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. I must stay in prayer without ceasing for me and mine, and for those You place in my path. This requires consciousness in the now of the moment through the Holy Spirit. So that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Lord Jesus in coming to You each morning I seek to get to the foot of the Cross. For it is here that I feel connected to You my source of source. Here that I receive Your wisdom and power to be imitated You in my one walk. Here You create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Here You free me of judgement and fill me with forgiveness and love. Here I am reminded that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Here I pray one thing for me and mine, to fulfillment of Your will. Here I pray for those You place in my path. Here I ask that whenever I speak, You give me the words, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 11/12/2013

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.

Abba Father I believe, help my unbelief. As the busyness of life under the sun wears me down, and challenges and problems increase. Keep me focused with eyes of faith, filled with hope and perseverance. Renew a steadfast spirit within me, and create in me a pure heart likened to Jesus’. For my one walk in and with You.
