One Walk

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 11/05/2012

“For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord.”

Abba Father I may have waited to long for somethings, but when it comes to directing1 me and mine in Your ways all things are possible in, with and through You in Jesus Christ. This I believe and this is why I come to You each day in the name of Jesus Christ who lives within me through the Holy Spirit so that You would create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with You. So that You will show and teach me how to be a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people, especially mine. So that You will help me stand having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one who roams around me using everything and anyone he can to stop me. Praying without ceasing that You continue to bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will, uniting us in Your name and keeping us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done each day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. A family united in and with You through Jesus Christ. So that I can humbly say ‘choose for yourselves, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord our God’2. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 11/04/2012

I am giving you this command in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by recalling them you may fight the battle well, holding on to faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and so have suffered shipwreck with regard to the faith.

Abba Father I often acknowledge that I believe You planted in our hearts the seed for us to know and love You. Is our conscious1 the root system for that seed. If we are to grow in You. How fast we grow in You. How large we grow in You. I know for me it starts by coming to You daily in the name of Jesus Christ who lives within me through the Holy Spirit, so that You can create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with You. So that You will show and teach me how to be a channel of Your peace and love in all situations will all people. So that You will help me stand having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one who I know roams waiting to temp and separate me from You. To pray that You continue to bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will, and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. For under the sun the battle for a spiritual and righteous conscious1 never ends; we must always be conscious1 of what we are thinking and doing to feed our conscious1. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

Abba Father maybe I am reading or wishing to much into it, only You know; but I cannot help but think about how our conscious1 affects how we vote, and what we think and feed our mind and spirit affects our conscious1. We cannot be hypocrites, nor should we let hypocrites lead us. The better of two evils, still leads to evil. We must purify our minds and hearts; we must act to change what we can – ourselves. This is why I come to You in the name of Jesus Christ who lives within me through the Holy Spirit so that You would create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with You. That You will show and teach me how to be a channel of Your peace and love in all situations will all people. That You will help me stand having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one who will attack me the closer I get and am to You. That You will hear my prayers for continued blessings for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will, not ours; and that You will keep us from evil and pain. That You will remind us that if we get nothing else done each day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
