One Walk

One Walk with Jesus is knowing and accepting Your identity is Jesus…

A prayer…

Dear Lord God, Abba Father, Jesus my Savior, thank You for today. For Your love, grace, mercy and blessings. For each of mine. For today’s message, song and verse. For this quiet time together, when You help me get it together. In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

My One Walk with Jesus starts when…

my alarm awakens me at 5am to the song ‘Only Jesus’. Then Moody Radio gets me thinking with Ravi Zacharias on ‘Just Thinking’, followed by ‘Key Life’ and ‘Haven Today’. Seeking Jesus’s face I try to create a state of quiet anticipation opening my heart, mind and spirit to what Jesus has for me today.

A prayer…

Dear Lord God, Abba Father, Jesus my Savior, thank You for today. For Your blessings. For Your grace and mercy. For Your Words that reaches out through so many to touch and renew us. As the world does what it can to ignore You, help us to revive our faith, hope, and love for You and each other. For our battle is a battle of one. One day, one person at time. In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

One Walk with Jesus must to be same yesterday, today and tomorrow without compromise…

Started listening to The Church in Babylon by Erwin W. Lutzer, narrated by Joe Geoffrey on my Audible app.

Except for disappointment that Dr. Lutzer didn’t narrate, it’s a good listen so far. Kind of a Biblical view of the state of Christianity, Christian Churches and America.

A thought…

Avoiding the Cross is the essence of the demonic… Consider the softness of the Church today: the desire to accommodate herself to the world, shrinking away from sacrifice, self-denial. We have today in the Christian world a new dirty word, but it doesn’t have four letters. The new dirty word has five: c-r-o-s-s. Christ without the Cross? Sure, anyone will accept that.

Thoughts for today…

From My Utmost for His Highest

God’s mercy exceeds our sin … because Jesus offers to the Father on the Cross immeasurably more love than all of the sins that we committed, whereby we have detracted from his love, his glory, and his truth.

I just finished listening to Choose Greatness by Gary Chapman, Clarence Shuler, narrated by Chris Fabry on my Audible app. Written for mature preteens and teenage boys it’s a good book for girls too. But parents and grandparents should listen first then decide. Full of advice on making the right choices and recommendations on other resources for each of the topics discussed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A verse…

But if you refuse to serve the LORD, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the LORD."
Joshua 24:15 NLT

A prayer…

Dear Lord God, Abba Father, Jesus my Savior, thank You for today. For Your blessings. For all You put in my path that draws me closer to You. For each of mine, for how You use them in my relationship with You. I ask for Your help as I always try to let them see more of You and less of me. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

A thought…

The powerful agency of God at work from the very beginning is none other than Jesus Christ himself, according to John 1 and Colossians 1. We can already recognize in Genesis the work of our Savior—not some generic god, but the Blessed Trinity through Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit is at work building us a home that he will then renovate and reconstitute in the glorious new heavens and the new earth at the end of the ages.
