A devotion…
After Surrender— Then What?
My Utmost for His Highest
https://utmost.org/after-surrender%E2%80%94-then-what/

A prayer…
Dear Lord God, Abba Father, Jesus my Savior. You already know my thoughts, my feelings, my worries and my fears. You know my heart, so You know my intentions. You know it all as I think it and before I write it. So why come to You, why pray. I need to know what You want me to do. You already know I don’t know. I need to know Your will, You already know mine. I need to know and feel I’m not causing the pain within mine. I need to know and feel You are helping them heal, forgive and forget the hurt I have brought upon them. I need to know I feel Your presence. Hear me calling. Find me, rescue me and mine from ourselves. Amen

Walking with Jesus

OneWalk: Under the Sun, with the Son

A Thought about what’s on my mind or heart, with a Bible Verse & Reading, a Devotion, a Worship Song or two and my Prayer.

A thought…

We are in a battle, spiritual warfare is real. And it’s being fought in the little moments of life. In how we manage our time, care for our love ones and steward God’s blessings. We are the salt and the light for Jesus’s Gospel. We must act like it, and ready ourselves by putting on His armor each day.

K-LOVE & Friends invite you to celebrate the National Day of Encouragement today. Step out of your comfort zone and stand strong in your faith, God love’s you. God is with You. Visit www.klove.com

A verse…

But let us who live in the light be clearheaded, protected by the armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation. 1 Thessalonians 5:8 (NLT)

A reading…
Isaiah 40
https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Isaiah+40&version=NLT

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.

A devotion…
Going Through Spiritual Confusion
My Utmost for His Highest
https://utmost.org/going-through-spiritual-confusion/

It is not a matter of right and wrong, but a matter of God taking you through a way that you temporarily do not understand.

Dear Lord God, Abba Father, Jesus my Savior. When I feel alone, abandoned and lost. I need to still be encouragement for others that feel or worse really are alone, abandoned and lost. Show me how. Guide my steps. Give me the words to speak and the wisdom to know when to just listen. Feed my faith. Renew my hope. Fill me with love and understanding. Let them see all of You and none of me. I love You, I’m sorry, forgive me, thank You. Amen

Today’s Thought, Bible Verse & Reading, Devotion, Worship Song and Prayer

A thought…
It’seasy to make mistakes when you get caught up in what your doing rather than for who and why your doing it. Only Jesus, Stand in His Love.

A verse…

I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me.

CrossCards: Encouragement for Today – September 5, 2018
https://www.crosscards.com/devotionals/encouragement-for-today/encouragement-for-today-september-5-2018.html

I’ll be honest here when I tell you, there have been times in my life when my sin is staring back at me in the mirror, like a pasture full of chubby horses. I know I need to get my heart right, and although God is standing by to change it, I choose not to talk to Him about it. Because you know what? I am right! And I am justified to have these feelings!

Dear Lord God, Abba Father, Jesus my Savior. Only in You, when I stand in Your love to have the power to truly hit pause and turn everything over to You. And let You guide and light my steps, words and actions. Taking my thoughts of me, and on to You and Your will. O that You will let me know You hear my cry’s by guiding and lighting way today. In Jesus name a pray. Amen
