My Daily Prayers and Readings for 11/27/2013

“Who am I, Lord God, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far?

< >< My Prayer >< >

Lord God who am I and what is my family that You have blessed us so much. My heart is filled with gratitude and my soul only desires to serve You in a way that makes Your presence within me visible to all. This is why I start each day with You. First I seek that You will create a pure heart within me, and renew a steadfast spirit for my one walk with You. As a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Next I Word to stay strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Then I focus on praying without ceasing through the Spirit on all occasions for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will, and for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 11/26/2013

Yet the news about him spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.

Lord Jesus, give me the same urgency for connection with the Father that characterized Your life. I can’t be who You’ve called me to be publicly without an ongoing, intimate relationship with You privately. Fill me up so I can freely give.1 Create a pure heart within, and renew a steadfast spirit for my one walk in and with You. As a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying through the Spirit on all occasions for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert to always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters . . . , so our eyes look to the Lord our God . .

Lord God I look to You in the morning, help me stay focused on You throughout the day. Relying on You and Your strength, not mine.1 With eyes of faith, I come to You knowing You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. With these same eyes of faith help me stay focused through this day. One walk, as a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Confident in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying in Jesus name on all occasions for me and mine to fulfill Your will. Staying alert to always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.

Lord God You have called me to be a witness for You wherever You have placed me. Every day my life is on display. Help me to live in such a way that others will want to know You and the abundant life You offer.1 Let my one walk be filled with confidence of the Holy Spirit guided by eyes of faith. Grounded by a pure heart likened to Jesus’ and a steadfast spirit. As a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Knowing that even if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying through the Spirit on all occasions for me and mine to fulfill Your will. Staying alert to always pray for those You place in my path. My Daily Prayers and Readings for 11/22/2013

The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you.

< >< My Prayer >< >

Abba Father through the Holy Spirit within me I am connected with You in the consciousness of the moments. I feel the overshadowing of self and the presence of Jesus Christ within me. I fight for there to be less of me and more of You in those moments, but it is not easy. I consciously find my mind and heart at odds with myself and those in the moment. In that instant, I must call upon Your power to overshadow my will to give way to Your will. I must fight off all that I think I know, to do what I do not know. I must have eyes of faith and a pure heart, with a steadfast spirit. I must have more of You and less of me to let go of what I think and have done, to do what You will for me. Trusting You completely. I must turn to Jesus, so His peace will be with me. To ease the fear of unknown and loosen the knot of stress I feel in my heart. Remembering that I choose one walk and to try and love You and others first, as You love me, even if I get nothing else done. I choose to pray without ceasing on all occasions for me and mine to fulfill Your will. I choose to find away to always pray for those You place in my path, even if they mean me harm. And I always ask that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 11/21/2013

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at last you have revived your concern for me; indeed, you were concerned before, but you lacked opportunity. Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
