Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak.

Lord God, You are never too busy to stop for someone who needs You. Give me Your heart toward others, and help me to take advantage of the opportunities You will give me to influence and develop those around me today.1 Create a steadfast spirit within me. Keep me free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying through the Spirit in the name of Jesus for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 11/16/2013

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God. And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Abba Father give me eyes of faith for my one walk in and with You today. As a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. An example of Your presence within me. Create a pure heart within, and renew a steadfast spirit. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying through the Spirit, in the name of Jesus for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Staying alert to always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Jesus Lord, You have given me spheres of influence where I can witness to You through my leadership. Wherever I am and everywhere You send me, at home, at work, at church, in the community and world, let my life witness to the difference following You can make. Create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me for my one walk in and with You. As a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. My Daily Prayers and Readings for 11/14/2013

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Lord Jesus I open my heart to You, asking You to fulfill Your purpose in me and mine, that we might have life through You and have it to the fullest through the Holy Spirit within us. Here each morning in this time with You I can feel Your words as they draw me closer and closer to You. The closer I get the more I feel You creating a pure heart within me, and I don’t want to leave until my heart is likened to Yours. Here You renew a steadfast spirit within me for my one walk in and with You today. As a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Knowing that if I get nothing else done this day, I need to spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. I must stay in prayer without ceasing for me and mine, and for those You place in my path. This requires consciousness in the now of the moment through the Holy Spirit. So that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Lord Jesus in coming to You each morning I seek to get to the foot of the Cross. For it is here that I feel connected to You my source of source. Here that I receive Your wisdom and power to be imitated You in my one walk. Here You create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Here You free me of judgement and fill me with forgiveness and love. Here I am reminded that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Here I pray one thing for me and mine, to fulfillment of Your will. Here I pray for those You place in my path. Here I ask that whenever I speak, You give me the words, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 11/12/2013

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.

Abba Father I believe, help my unbelief. As the busyness of life under the sun wears me down, and challenges and problems increase. Keep me focused with eyes of faith, filled with hope and perseverance. Renew a steadfast spirit within me, and create in me a pure heart likened to Jesus’. For my one walk in and with You. Strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.

Lord God, Moses’ challenge to the Israelites is a timeless message, one that I need to hear today. Whether my day holds challenge or success, let me meet each one in the humility and confidence that comes from knowing who You are, and who I am in You.1 Create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
