My Daily Prayers and Readings for 07/31/2013

Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

Lord Jesus through the Holy Spirit within me I come to connect with You so that You will create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit. Focused on my one walk in and with You today, as a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Open to Your will for me and ready to be used. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying through the Spirit in each moment for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Staying alert and always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known Your presence in me and the truth in the mystery of the gospel. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 07/30/2013

But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all people. He did not need any testimony about mankind, for he knew what was in each person.

Lord Jesus through You, in the Holy Spirit I am able to come to You so that You can create a pure heart within me, and renew a steadfast spirit for my one walk in and with You today. Practicing Your presence, and in Your presence disillusionment. 1 Free of judgement and full of forgiveness, love and acceptance. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying in the moment through the Spirit in Your name for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert and always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel and Your work within me. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

To prepare for my one walk in and with You today, as a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Confident in Your grace and mercy. Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying in the Spirit and in the name of Jesus on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert and always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel. Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,

The tongue of the wise makes knowledge appealing, but the mouth of a fool belches out foolishness.

Lord God, my source of source, You are a master wordsmith, speaker, and teacher. I ask that You would anoint my words with Your Spirit. May my words be backed up by my life, so that they ring true and appeal to others. May they reveal wisdom, not foolishness. May they bring life and insight to others. 1 Keep my mind and heart pure in thought, and give me a steadfast spirit. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Strong in You and Your almighty power.(r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. “Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap . . . yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds!”

Lord God, You are my source of source through which in the Holy Spirit I am able to come to You each day and get back to a pure heart, and in the process renew a steadfast spirit for my one walk in and with You. A walk free of fear, doubt, regret, judgement and full of forgiveness and love. With a strong connection to You and Your almighty power.(r or l) From where I can be a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Remembering that through and because of Jesus, I freely choose You, Your ways, Your path; the narrow path. In each moment I seek to practice Your presence. Remembering my choice, Your Son over the ways under the sun. So if I get nothing else done this day, let me be reminded and spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying in the Spirit and in the name of Jesus on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert and always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel.
