One Walk

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 02/05/2012

For the word of the LORD is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. The LORD loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.

Abba Father another week ends and new one begins, in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus. Make me a channel of Your peace, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.

Abba Father, You are you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble, in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus. Make me a channel of Your peace, full of compassion and understanding, expressed in unconditional forgiveness and love. Fearless and standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light. My Daily Prayers and Readings for 01/30/2012

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

Abba Father I do seek a humble spirit and want to practice unlimited patience, kindness with unconditional gentleness in all situations at all times; but I cannot do it without You. I need You to create a clean heart within me, and renew a right spirit for my one walk in and with Jesus; moment by moment. So in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You make me a channel of Your peace, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. I lift up to You in prayer and thought those hurting and suffering today; searching for comfort, lost in grief. Bless them and let Your grace rain down upon them, washing away loneliness, fear, regret and doubt. Replacing it with faith, hope and love. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
