One Walk

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 12/07/2012

for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

< >< My Prayer >< >

Abba Father only with eyes of faith full of love for Jesus can one find the strength to overcome oneself. Overcoming oneself in Jesus through His teachings is where one starts to overcome the world. I start by coming to You in the name of Jesus Christ who lives within me through the Holy Spirit so that You can create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with You. I come to think and meditate one how I need to prepare and what I need to practice so that I can be a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. I know if I am to stay strong in You and Your almighty power, I must put on Your full armor and stand firm  with the belt of Your truth buckled around my waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with my feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, taking up the shield of faith, with which I can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one who lurks in each moment waiting to separate me from You. I take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your word, and praying in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. Keeping this in mind, being alert and always praying and asking that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel (r or l) by my words and example. I lift up myself and mine in prayer for fulfillment of Your will. Asking that You remind us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen. .

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 12/05/2012

…until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Abba Father achieving ‘unity and maturity in the Body of Christ’ 1 does not come easy under the sun. We must learn to die to self without hesitation. Becoming completely humble and gentle; being patient, bearing with one another in love. 1 I know only one way through death of self and by coming to You in the name of Jesus Christ who lives within me through the Holy Spirit each morning so that You can create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with You. To practice what You show and teach me about becoming a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people in every moment. To stay strong in You and Your almighty power, putting on Your full armor by standing firm with the belt of Your truth buckled around my waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with my feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, taking up the shield of faith, with which I can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one who lurks in each moment hoping to separate me from You. Taking the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your word. And praying in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, staying alert and praying without ceasing for all of Your people, including me and mine for fulfillment of Your will. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel. (r or l) Reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen. .

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 12/04/2012

I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.

Abba Father how easily we become hypocrites, proclaiming to be followers without even believing. For if we believe, how can we not follow. Therefore if we are not following, it is because we have chosen darkness over light. Unable to turn our belief into action, we give way to doubt and fear. Not I, like Jesus told Peter, I say – get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns. 1 I will not be pulled back into darkness, I will fight off doubt and overcome fear. I will come to You Lord over and over in the name of Jesus Christ who lives within me through the Holy Spirit so that You can create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with You. I will fight to be a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. I will be strong in You and Your almighty power, putting on Your full armor by standing firm with the belt of Your truth buckled around my waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with my feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, taking up the shield of faith, with which I can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one who lurks in the dark waiting to separate me from You. Taking the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your word. I will pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, i will be alert and always pray for all You put in my path, as well as for me and mine for fulfillment of Your will. Praying that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen. .

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 12/02/2012

[God’s Final Word: His Son] In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.

Abba Father much has been done in His name that is not according to His words, teachings or will, yet His words remain like no other under the sun – alive and full of truth. The truth that we must strive to be one with You, like He is one with You through a direct and personal relationship with You through Him in the Spirit. This is why He came into the world under the sun, and this is what He has taught me. This is why I come to You in His name each day, the name of Jesus Christ who lives within me through the Holy Spirit so that You would create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with You. It is not easy and He warned it would not be easy. This is why I need You to show and teach me daily how to be a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. This is why I need Your help, to be and remain strong in You and Your almighty power, putting on Your full armor by standing firm  with the belt of Your truth buckled around my waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with my feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, taking up the shield of faith, with which I can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one who lurks in each moment waiting to create doubt and separate me from You. So I take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your word. And keep praying in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this mind set, being alert and always praying for all the Your people, me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. That whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen. .
