“Stay awake!
For you do not know on which day your Lord will come.
Be sure of this:
if the master of the house
had known the hour of night when the thief was coming,
he would have stayed awake
and not let his house be broken into.
So too, you also must be prepared,
for at an hour you do not expect, the Son of Man will come.
“Who, then, is the faithful and prudent servant,
whom the master has put in charge of his household
to distribute to them their food at the proper time?
Blessed is that servant whom his master on his arrival finds doing so.
Amen, I say to you, he will put him in charge of all his property.
But if that wicked servant says to himself, ‘My master is long delayed,’
and begins to beat his fellow servants,
and eat and drink with drunkards,
the servant’s master will come on an unexpected day
and at an unknown hour and will punish him severely
and assign him a place with the hypocrites,
where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.”

My prayer…

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, thank You for blessing me with a mother that prayed for me without ceasing. Every time I read about Saint Monica, I think of my Mom praying for me through all the years that I chased the world, rather than You Jesus. Thank You for her, forgive me for my wayward ways and sins. Mom I love You. Jesus hold her tightly, for she longed to be in Your presence. For she was not of this world, and is now at home with You.
Forgive me Lord!
Use me now to awaken others chasing the world. For all is vanity. They are to many poor souls lost and alone. Victims of the world, in need of prayer.
Hear my prayer for me and mine, for those lost and alone. Like my Mom not of this world but still in it. For those chasing the world. Let this prayer and post touch just one in Your name.
Jesus, Mary, I love You, save souls.
In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, thank You for Your Word for the Prophets and Saints. Filled with truth and mystery there is so much to learn and understand that one cannot it do alone. Help us Lord. Guide us, reveal to us what You want each of us to know.
Teach us to pray more fervently. To meditate on what You are teaching and asking us. To have a discerning heart, likened to Yours.
Hear our cry’s and prayers. Continue to bless me and mine.

We must be the Gospel. Able to stand firm in our faith. Holding fast to Your promises. Seeking You above everything else. Remaining calm in and through You.
Hear my prayers today for me and mine and those seeking You too. Walk with us. Ear us whispering Your name throughout the day.

My prayer…

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, thank You for reminding me to trust in Your promise, and be patient. The routine and mundaneness of day to day, week to week life under the sun can make us inpatient. Inpatients can make us lose trust. That’s why I rest in You. For in and with You, I find rest and peace. When I with You, it’s easy to trust You. Feeling Your presence is real. It’s natural.
That’s my prayer today. That me and mine will walk in the feeling of Your presence. That our trust in You is visible to others in how we walk. And that they may be encouraged to seek Your presence also.
Jesus, Mary, I love You, save souls.
In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

and give over to him your authority.
He shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem,
and to the house of Judah.
I will place the key of the House of David on Eliakim’s shoulder;

Jesus went into the region of Caesarea Philippi and
he asked his disciples,
“Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”

still others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
Simon Peter said in reply,

My prayer…

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, thank You for always guiding me and mine as needed, when needed. Your Words are truth. Today’s readings, Gospel and reflections point us to Your Church.
For the first time in this country for most living today. We face the reality of losing the freedom and right to worship You in and through Your Church. A Church which is divided, like the country and for the same reasons.
So today I pray for me and mine, for all those aware of the threat to religious freedom. I also pray for those unaware, a sleep in their busyness and frozen in fear. And especially pray for those seeking to remove this freedom and limit our rights. They do not know what they do.
Help us Jesus to kneel before You in prayer, and stand up for You against those seeking to remove You from life’s.
Prepare fur what’s to come and lead us into tomorrow whatever it brings.
Jesus, Mary, I love You, save souls.

Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, thank You today. For continuing to teach me, and show me Your ways. To forgive me, and show me how to forgive. To love me, and show me how to love.
Hear my prayers for me and mine. For in them is where You show me what love is, and for them You show me why I need to learn to love others as I do them. Never easy, but it is Your commandment. So use me and mine. Walk with us. Teach us. Help us.
Jesus, Mary, I love You, save souls. In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Apostles (Nicene) Creed

I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages.
