A thought…
What if? the only what if question that matters to me is… what if I decided to follow my Lord Jesus sooner. But that was then and this is now, He has blessed me beyond measure. I wouldn’t want to change anything except having more faith, hope and love. And causing less hurt and pain.

A verse…

I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.

It’s easy and by far less painful to ignore our sins, or even deny we are sinners. But there are consequences. So take Jesus’s hand and deal with it. The sooner the better.

The Destructiveness of Sin

We are often blind to our own faults. We can also fail to see how those faults affect others, particularly those closest to us.

Our sins can haunt us when we don’t deal with them. Prayerfully reflect on your own life. Are there sins you could be blind to? Ask God to help you see them. If His Spirit reveals any, confess those sins to God and repent.

He has promised to forgive and cleanse you and to remove your sin as far as the east is from the west (Ps. 103:12).

God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

My Walks with Jesus

Walking with Jesus…

OneWalk: Under the Sun, with the Son

A thought…

I always feel so much closer to my Lord Jesus Christ after one of my Saturday morning walks. Some how it’s like my body, mind and spirit come together and are focused on one thing, connecting to Him. Whether He’s convicting me, teaching me, or just comforting me. Often all three. I just can’t get enough. As I listen to my audio Bible, or an audio book or worship music. It’s all about Him and I seek to immerse myself in His teachings and love.

My walks with Him are like the quote above says…

Dear Lord,
Forgive what I have been,
Correct what I am,
And direct what I will be.

During the week my mornings start with this one and one time with Him. This time is more mind and spirit, but with the same goal of connecting to Him for the day ahead. My commitment to share these posts and long days at work limit my walks during the week. But I do try to surround myself with Him throughout the day with a sermon, a lecture or worship music.

I just can’t get enough of Jesus! I seek His presence and guidance in everything. #OneWalk

Ultimately, God will allow nothing to escape; every detail of our lives is under His scrutiny. God will bring us back in countless ways to the same point over and over again. And He never tires of bringing us back to that one point until we learn the lesson, because His purpose is to produce the finished product.

Dear Lord God, Abba Father, Jesus my Savior thank You for each and every blessing. I see Your hand and feel Your presence. I love You, I am sorry, forgive me, thank You. Continue Your work in me. Amen

God created hope to intertwine with every part of life, which is why holding on to it makes all the difference. Letting go of hope is why we walk out of a hard marriage. It’s why we give up on a wayward child. Hopelessness is what makes us reject challenging friendships and step out of frustrating community groups. Losing hope is why we turn our backs on difficult family members, quit frustrating positions of leadership and let go of a dream that feels too far off. But God didn’t create us to be quitters.
