I’m thankful…

A prayer…

Dear Lord God, Abba Father, Jesus my Savior, thank You for this day and for all Your blessings. For the blessing of my grandchildren that bring me so much joy. Bless each of them and all of mine. Be with them, to guide them, protect them, bless them. Thank You for all bring my way throughout the day to keep me going and focused on You. No matter how long and or trying the day, Your sweet touch reminds me of my why, Your why, the bigger eternal picture. It’s in these moments I get just enough wisdom and understanding to forget about me and focus on You and mine as well as the ones You place in front of me. Thank You. In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

A verse…

"We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. [4] And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. [5] And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love."

Romans 5:3-5 NLT

Over the last three Saturdays, I’ve been able to start my One Walks with Jesus again. They’re great, a lot of listening and praying. Just me and Jesus along with whatever books, sermons, songs or Words He leads me to.

This Saturday I finished listening to The God Impulse by Jack Alexander, narrated by Paul Michael on my Audible app. Give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and strongly recommend it.

Then started listening to Alienated America by Timothy P. Carney, narrated by Charles Constant on my Audible app.

For example Friday, I hear about the new video release of Crowder’s new song ‘Wildfire’. So I search for it and found it, plus this moving motivational video…

And a prayer…

Dear Lord God, Abba Father, Jesus my Savior, thank You for Your Words of truth that guide and renew me. Thank for all Your blessings. For all the moments when You reach out and touch me through song and word. I continue to pray that You will touch each of mine in the same way, as well as all those lost in the ways of this world; whether running from or searching for truth and peace. Help us all to put on Your whole armour so that we may all be able to stand against the lies of the devil. This I ask in Jesus name. Amen

One Walk with Jesus is about likening my heart to His. To see as He sees, hear as He hears, feel as He feels and respond as He would respond. So I surround myself in all things about Him. Knowing that He will provide what I need at the right time; His time not necessarily my time. All I must do is use the time in between to fight and stay focused on Him.

It maybe the right song to start your day on K-Love radio…

How Great Is Our God
Chris Tomlin
https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/how-great-is-our-god/1034983962?i=1034984071

A verse…

Publish his glorious deeds among the nations. Tell everyone about the amazing things he does.
1 Chronicles 16:24 NLT

A thought…

I can’t relate to someone that says the don’t believe in God. For me they’re just in denial, afraid of what it means and what comes along with believing. My memory is that I always have been a believer, but for far to long I refused to follow and obey for probably the same reason. But now all I want is to run to Jesus, to liken my heart to His, for others to see His presence in me. To praise and worship Him all day. To surround myself with Him. ‘How great is our God’

A prayer…

Dear Lord God, Abba Father, Jesus my Savior, thank You for this new day and for Your blessings. For all You bring my way throughout the day to keep me going and focused on You, and the peace that comes with that. Thank You! In Jesus name I pray. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

A thought…

Claim nothing for yourself, think of others kindly and with admiration; that is the height of wisdom, and its masterpiece. Never think yourself better than the next man, however glaring his faults, however grievous his offences; you are in good dispositions now, but how long will they last? Tell yourself, ‘We are frail, all of us, but none so frail as I.’

A reading and verse…

Luke 10:38-42 NLT
[38] As Jesus and the disciples continued on their way to Jerusalem, they came to a certain village where a woman named Martha welcomed him into her home. [39] Her sister, Mary, sat at the Lord’s feet, listening to what he taught. [40] But Martha was distracted by the big dinner she was preparing. She came to Jesus and said, "Lord, doesn’t it seem unfair to you that my sister just sits here while I do all the work? Tell her to come and help me." [41] But the Lord said to her, "My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details! [42] There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her."

A prayer…

Dear Lord God, Abba Father thank You for today and all Your blessings each day. Including the gift of Your Word through the sermons and music of those gifted with interpreting Your Word in word and music. As I fight each day to be more like Mary help me and guide me. You are my source of source. Help know and truthfully disseminate Your Word and the teaching of my Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
