But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 08/06/2013

Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

< >< My Prayer >< >

Abba Father I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. For one walk in and with You today. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Praying through the Spirit in the name of Jesus on all occasions for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert and always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel, and Your presence in me. Always remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me.In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.

Lord God, I know You are my source of source. I come to You each morning so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. For my one walk in and with You today. As a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying in the Spirit and in the name of Jesus on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert and always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel. This is my one walk, my story. 1 That You will use me for good, and that others will see Your presence in me. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.

Holy Spirit, help me to evaluate my leadership as Jesus did, and to be more concerned with how I influence others than I am with worldly success. Show me where You want to redirect me. May others be more fulfilled because of my influence in their lives. Most of all, I want to be found faithful to Your call. 1 Create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Keep me free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying alert and always praying for those You place in my path. So that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
