Meanwhile his disciples urged him, “Rabbi, eat something.” But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you know nothing about.” Then his disciples said to each other, “Could someone have brought him food?” “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.”

Abba Father, so tune my heart and will to Yours that all else fades. Draw me out of my comfort zone and into the places where You are at work to draw people to Yourself. Energize me through Your Spirit.1 Through the Holy Spirit within me keep my heart pure, and my spirit steadfast for my one walk in and with You today. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying without ceasing for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.

Lord God keep me focused on all I have to be thankful for – an attitude of gratitude! Help me to be a listening ear to those overwhelmed without becoming overwhelmed. Through the Holy Spirit within me keep my heart pure, and my spirit steadfast for my one walk in and with You today as Your servant. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying through the Spirit and in the name of Jesus on all occasions for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and for those You place in my path. Lord God I pray that You will bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will, and that You will help me stay plugged into Your power through the Holy Spirit as I pray without ceasing for mine and those You place in my path. Give me eyes of faith and a heart likened to Jesus’. Help me put on Your armor so that I will stay strong in You and Your almighty power.
