A thought…

Why do you believe what you believe? Is it based on what someone has told you, or on what you have come to believe on your own. Yesterday’s verse from Daniel 12:2-3 "Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt." Is vary direct some of us will wake in heaven others in hell, forever, eternity. I would say that’s a the most important question we can ask ourselves, our love ones and any one God put in our walk. Who you going to trust for your answer? I say read the Bible, start with the New Testament from beginning to end, or at least start with the four Gospels starting with John, Luke, Matthew and Mark. Or the Words written in red, those spoken by Jesus. You can do this with The Words Jesus of Nazareth, compiled by Lee Cantelon. Read Jesus’ words thematically, in clear and modern English, for non-Christians, spiritual seekers, agnostics and believers. http://www.thewords.com/

My One Walk with Jesus started today with hymns ‘Amazing Grace’ and ‘Blessed Assurance’ and a song ‘No More’ at 2:40am when I woke and turned on Kurt Goff on Moody Radio. The music gets and keeps my mind on Jesus. I say the Lords Prayer a few times, till I get it right, as my mind is half awake and half a sleep. Sleep wins, I wake again to my alarm at 5am to ‘Just Thinking’ by RZIM, ‘Key Life’, ‘Haven Today’ and ‘Ron Hutchcraft Ministries’ on Moody Radio. Taking in each word, verse, testimony and song, I feel like I’m grabbing Jesus’s hand to start the day…

One Walk with Jesus is about likening my heart to His. To see as He sees, hear as He hears, feel as He feels and respond as He would respond. So I surround myself in all things about Him. Knowing that He will provide what I need at the right time; His time not necessarily my time. All I must do is use the time in between to fight and stay focused on Him.
