Today’s Prayer…
Most humble and perfect Lord, in Your human nature, You were the perfect expression of the Father’s love, shining light into the darkness of our lives by revealing Your truth and mercy. Help me always to humble myself before You and to remain open to the formation You offer, so that I may not only draw closer to You, but also become a more faithful and powerful instrument of Your presence in the world. Jesus, I trust in You.
My Prayer…
My God and Abba Father, Jesus my Lord and Savior, Holy Spirit my counselor and advocate, hear my prayers. I thank You for this day and every blessing! Guide me, teach me, help me, to avoid the things You don’t want me to do, and to do things You want me to do. To forgive all, interact and react with gentle kindness and prayer, dying to myself for the other. Grant me wisdom and a discerning heart, likened to Yours.
them from evil, and causing any pain. Teaching them in Your ways and showing them Your truths. Help them to trust in Your promises, and let them feel Your presence.
I pray for all of mine that have passed on to be with You. Pour forth Your mercy upon them so that they may be counted among the saints in Heaven. Mom, Dub, Dad, Abuelita and Abuelito, Titi Evelyn and Fernando, Nana and Coco, Titi Lisa and Manuel, Louie, Uncle Mike and Carmen, Luis, Rosa, Titi Mary and Harold, Titi Gladys, Titi Nellie, Abuelo Angel, Abuela, Puchi, Celida, Pettie, Diana, Chique, Terri, Bryce, Robert, Mark, Matthew, David, Dave, Rick and Phil, Peggy, Joe, Mike, Jose and Rocky as well as all those not listed but remembered. Bless and heal those still grieving.
Not my will, but Yours Lord God.
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
In the name of Jesus, I pray.
Amen.
