My Daily Prayers and Readings for 12/17/2013

Whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.

< >< My Prayer >< >

Lord Jesus I wake to clothe myself with Your attitudes and actions.1 I ask You to create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying through the Spirit in Your name for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert to always pray for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 12/14/2013

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled . . .

< >< My Prayer >< >

Abba Father through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. For for it is from here with You that I am at peace. The kind of peace that I hope to take with me on my one walk in and with You today. As a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Reflecting Your presence in me and the attitude of gratitude that the peace You give me creates. Free from the troubles and worries under the Sun because of the Son. Full of forgiveness and love. Strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Knowing that if I can spend this day loving You and others first, as You love me, first. Then it doesn’t matter if I get anything else done. Except to keep praying for me and mine to fulfill Your will. And to pray for those You place in my path. While asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 12/13/2013

. . . that they may be one just as We are one . . .

< >< My Prayer >< >

Lord Jesus, oh that I could walk in oneness in with You, just as You and the Father are one. One walk, surrendering to You in the now of each moment and in the reflection back on each moment. Turning to You when things go well and when things go wrong. In good times and bad times. When I do right and when I do wrong. Knowing that only through You can I create and maintain a pure heart, and keep a steadfast spirit within me for my one walk. So I pray without ceasing for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will, and for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. And if not in the moment, after it, You will guide me back to oneness, whenever I let my actions or circumstances separate me from you. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 12/12/2013

“Humility comes before honor.”

Lord God, I confess that the hurly-burly pace of living often threatens to suffo- cate my relationships. Remind me to care for others first. Help me stay conscious in the moment to show my love You and others first, as You love me. Help me to encourage others who are struggling. Let my one walk be visible and an example of Your presence in me. Keep my heart pure, and my spirit steadfast. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Praying in through the Spirit and in the name of Jesus on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert to always pray for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. My Daily Prayers and Readings for 12/11/2013

Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity.

Lord God, help me not to doubt Your direction in my life. Guide me by creating a pure heart, and a steadfast spirit within me. Keep me free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. A channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. One Walk in and with You today, strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Knowing that if I get nothing else done this day, I want to spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying without ceasing for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Staying alert to always pray for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Lord God, I humble myself before You in this moment, declaring that I am dependent on Your wisdom and strength and power to meet every challenge facing me. Thank You for taking my anxiety and giving me confidence. May You be exalted in my life and in the eyes of others.1 Through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me for my one walk in and with You today. As a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power.
