One Walk

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 07/19/2012

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Abba Father this I know, You are with me, You will strengthen and uphold me. It is up to me to not to be dismayed, and not to fear. For if You are in me what do I have to fear. Only myself, so in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus today. Make me a channel of Your peace and love, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 07/18/2012

I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws.

Abba Father in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus. This is where and how I must start each day in praise and worship of You. For if I do not take time to prepare no one will see Your work within me. If I do not focus on there being less of me and more of You, no one will know that I know You, follow You, praise You. To be a channel of Your peace and love, I must stand having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding me that if we get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 07/17/2012

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

Abba Father there is power in Your Word and Jesus’ Gospel, living power that touches us each differently. But we must open the door to our hearts and minds, and being willing and prepared to die to ourselves. To be one with You through Christ in the Spirit, and to ask that You create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within us. To be a channel of Your peace and love, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 07/14/2012

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Abba Father, Jesus tells us ‘if you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.’ One of His commands is that we do not worry or be anxious in any way. Now He knew that under the sun this would not be easy. This is why we must take hold of His yoke. In His name we must pray that You create a pure heart in us, and renew a steadfast spirit, for this one walk in and with Him. We must be diligent in what we say, do and think. To be a channel of His peace and love, we must stand having girded my waist with the truth that He teaches us, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness we must walk with eyes of faith, and having shod our feet with the preparation of His gospel of peace; and above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one who will attack us and use what we fear as a lion roams its prey, waiting, lurking. So we must practice Your presence and stay ready in faith, hope and love. Always asking that You bless us in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 07/13/2012

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Abba Father in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus. Protect me from myself, my pride, selfishness and anger. Use these sinful ways as a thorn in my flesh to keep me humble and close to You. For as Paul  said, ‘Your grace is sufficient for me, for power is perfected in weakness.’ ‘Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.’ Make me a channel of Your peace and love, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
