One Walk

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 09/11/2012

I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Abba Father what is it that makes us want to know that which we cannot understand; to understand that which we cannot comprehend. To question… ‘I lift my eyes to You, knowing that my help comes only from You; my source of source. I ask each day in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I come to so that You would create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus. That You will continue to show and teach me how to be a channel of Your peace and love in all situations will all people. That You will be with me when I  stand each day having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You continue to bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will, and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 09/10/2012

Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.

Abba Father You have blessed me so, and taught me so much despite myself. One thing I believe is I believe in Your truths, help me in my unbelief. Help me to lift others up feeding my belief without letting them bring me down or feeding my unbelief. We all have needs, fears and doubts; we all feel alone when disconnecting from You. Help me be there without being there. Prepare me for today by creating in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit, for my one walk in and with Jesus. Show me how to be a channel of Your peace and love in all situations will all people. Help me stand having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. no matter how or through whom he tries to attack my belief. Continue to bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will, and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 09/09/2012

Guide older men into lives of temperance, dignity, and wisdom, into healthy faith, love, and endurance. Guide older women into lives of reverence so they end up as neither gossips nor drunks, but models of goodness.

Abba Father continue to guide and teach me and mine in Your ways and truths as Paul writes. Create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus. Show me how to be a channel of Your peace and love in all situations will all people. Give me patience and understanding that never runs empty. Help me stand having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You continue to bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will, and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 09/06/2012

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you.”

Abba Father by Your grace and grace alone I am able to come to You in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit and ask that You would create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus. Through Jesus’ I am forgiven, and by Your grace and mercy I can begin to forgive myself. With Jesus as my teacher I hope and pray that You will show and teach me how to be a channel of Your peace and love in all situations will all people. With Jesus in my heart I ask that You will help me stand having girded my waist with Your truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You continue to bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will with eyes of faith, and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 09/05/2012

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Abba Father help me to stay present in the moment with You. Wherever You place me. Who ever You place in my path. In all that I say and do. Keep me aware of Your purpose for bringing me into each situation. Stay with me in every task and conversation. Keep me present with those whom You bring my way, remind me that they are created in Your image, and help me meet them at their point of their need. In the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I come to so that You can prepare me by creating in me a pure heart, and renewing a steadfast spirit, for my one walk in and with Jesus. That You will help me stand having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
