And he said to his disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you shall eat, nor about your body, what you shall put on.

Abba Father through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. For my one walk in and with You, as a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying through the Spirit and in the name of Jesus on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert to always pray for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 12/14/2013

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled . . .

< >< My Prayer >< >

Abba Father through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. For for it is from here with You that I am at peace. The kind of peace that I hope to take with me on my one walk in and with You today. As a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Reflecting Your presence in me and the attitude of gratitude that the peace You give me creates. Free from the troubles and worries under the Sun because of the Son. Full of forgiveness and love. Strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Knowing that if I can spend this day loving You and others first, as You love me, first. Then it doesn’t matter if I get anything else done. Except to keep praying for me and mine to fulfill Your will. And to pray for those You place in my path. While asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 12/13/2013

. . . that they may be one just as We are one . . .

< >< My Prayer >< >

Lord Jesus, oh that I could walk in oneness in with You, just as You and the Father are one. One walk, surrendering to You in the now of each moment and in the reflection back on each moment. Turning to You when things go well and when things go wrong. In good times and bad times. When I do right and when I do wrong. Knowing that only through You can I create and maintain a pure heart, and keep a steadfast spirit within me for my one walk. So I pray without ceasing for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will, and for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. And if not in the moment, after it, You will guide me back to oneness, whenever I let my actions or circumstances separate me from you. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

Lord God, I humble myself before You in this moment, declaring that I am dependent on Your wisdom and strength and power to meet every challenge facing me. Thank You for taking my anxiety and giving me confidence. May You be exalted in my life and in the eyes of others.1 Through the Holy Spirit within me and in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to You so that You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me for my one walk in and with You today. As a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power. My Daily Prayers and Readings for 12/03/2013

My speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power . . .

Lord God through Jesus I must deliberately give my life to You, so that You can use me as Your hands and His feet. It is not always easy, and I must remain conscious in the now of each moment not to give way to the ways under the sun, but instead follow the Son.1 With a pure heart, and a steadfast spirit I prepare for my one walk in and with You today. As a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, I choose to spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. With eyes of faith. Praying through the Spirit on all occasions for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert to always pray for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Lord God I look to You in the morning, help me stay focused on You throughout the day. Relying on You and Your strength, not mine.1 With eyes of faith, I come to You knowing You will create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. With these same eyes of faith help me stay focused through this day. One walk, as a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Confident in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying in Jesus name on all occasions for me and mine to fulfill Your will. Staying alert to always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ . . .

Lord Jesus I seek to be so closely identified with You and the reality of Your redemption that You can continually bring Your creating life through me. But I must make sure that I am living in such harmony with God that as I proclaim His truth He can create in others those things which He alone can do.1 This requires a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit which only You can create within me. My one walk in and with You today, must be free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) As a channel of Your peace and love in all situations with all people. Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Praying through the Spirit for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert and always praying for those You place in my path.
