Dear Lord God, Abba Father, as I fight to stay focused on You through each day. I realize that as the daily grind consumes me, and I drift between the conscious fight and my subconscious tendencies. You are there. So I fight all the more. Wanting my conscious focus and my subconscious tendency to become one. It’s like as the daily grind tries to consume me, You consume the daily grind. Rescuing me from myself by directing my steps, thoughts, actions and what I say or don’t say. Thank You Lord for holding my hand. Amen

Dear Lord God, Abba Father, there is so much I don’t understand. I see so many searching and seeking to find their identify with You, but in new (old) ways. They use religion as an reason or excuse for defining their beliefs (relationship with You). Rejecting Jesus or redefining Him to rationalize choosing not to follow Him. Just like in today’s verse. There so much I don’t understand. How could they have walked with Jesus, seen His works and walk away. The road is narrow, and we will have challenges and heart ache. You know how long it took me to move from believer to follower. O Lord that You would use me in some way to be a light to the truth in Jesus. To open one heart. Amen
