One Walk

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 07/22/2012

“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

Abba Father in today’s verse Jesus ask the question we must all answer. ‘Who do you say I am?’ Throughout the stages of our walk under the sun, no matter the state we find ourselves in, we must find continuity in change. For me that is in and through Jesus. In Jesus I find belief without knowing, faith. Because of Him I can dream without reason, hope. Through Him I can love unconditionally. In Jesus I find reason in the Holy Trinity without understanding. I find all this when I allow You to create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, and I keep it when I walk as one in and with Jesus. I must pray without ceasing, and I must continually practice being a channel of Your peace and love, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 07/21/2012

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

Abba Father, practicing Your presence is how I want to walk. As one, so in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for that one walk in and with Jesus today. Make me a channel of Your peace and love, dying to myself in the now of the moment because I stand having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. I humbly ask that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; lay Your healing hand upon my Ricki. Comfort and heal him in Jesus’ name. We need another miracle. Remind us daily that if we get nothing else done, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 07/20/2012

“Abba! Father! All things are possible for You; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You will.”

Abba Father my mind is filled with worry and anxiousness for my boy today, as I know he too is anxious and even fearful of what awaits him. Hold him close, give him the courage and strength to face the pain he must endure to get better. Use this time of pain and suffering to bring him closer to You. Take him by the hand and guide him if You must, but make Your presence known to him. I pray with him for a quick and full recovery, but not as we might will, but as You will. Just make Your will known to him, fill him with Your purpose. In the name of Christ Jesus who lives within us through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in us a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within us, for our one walk in and with Jesus today. Make us an example of one filled with the courage and strength of Jesus, standing having girded our waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod our feet with the preparation of His gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which we will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Asking that You bless us today in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Abba Father this I know, You are with me, You will strengthen and uphold me. It is up to me to not to be dismayed, and not to fear. For if You are in me what do I have to fear. Only myself, so in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus today. Make me a channel of Your peace and love, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. My Daily Prayers and Readings for 07/18/2012

I will praise you with an upright heart as I learn your righteous laws.

Abba Father in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus. This is where and how I must start each day in praise and worship of You. For if I do not take time to prepare no one will see Your work within me. If I do not focus on there being less of me and more of You, no one will know that I know You, follow You, praise You. To be a channel of Your peace and love, I must stand having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding me that if we get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 07/17/2012

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

Abba Father there is power in Your Word and Jesus’ Gospel, living power that touches us each differently. But we must open the door to our hearts and minds, and being willing and prepared to die to ourselves. To be one with You through Christ in the Spirit, and to ask that You create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within us. To be a channel of Your peace and love, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us.
