My Daily Prayers and Readings for 11/13/2013
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Lord Jesus in coming to You each morning I seek to get to the foot of the Cross. For it is here that I feel connected to 
You my source of source. Here that I receive Your wisdom and power to be imitated You in my one walk. Here You create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Here You free me of judgement and fill me with forgiveness and love. Here I am reminded that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. Here I pray one thing for me and mine, to fulfillment of Your will. Here I pray for those You place in my path. Here I ask that whenever I speak, You give me the words, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel – one walk. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
