My Daily Prayers and Readings for 08/14/2013
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door,I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

Jesus, open my eyes to Your presence and activity today. As someone whose life and perspective has been changed by You, I want to be part of Your ongoing work in the world. 1 Through the Holy Spirit within me create a pure heart, and renew a steadfast spirit within me, with eyes of faith. Free of judgement and full of forgiveness and love. Staying strong in You and Your almighty power. (r or l) Remembering that if I get nothing else done this day, let me spend it loving You and others first, as You love me. One walk, praying through the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests for me and mine in fulfillment of Your will. Being alert and always praying for those You place in my path. Asking that whenever I speak, words may be given to me, so that I will fearlessly make known the truth in the mystery of the gospel. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
