My Daily Prayers and Readings for 06/17/2012

If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve:… but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

Abba Father this Fathers day while everyone celebrates and children give thanks to their Dads, I thank You for the blessing of being able to be a Father. Thank You Lord God, Abba Father; for while I have made many mistakes, I am humbled by the blessing of the family You have graciously blessed me with and as a result I commit that me and my house, we will serve You LORD. So I standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 06/15/2012

“Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life.”–John 6:47

Lord Jesus, believing in You, I have been reborn to live like You lived, in intimate relationship with the Abba Father and empowered by the Spirit. Thank You for freeing me from the trap of constantly trying to prove my worth, and though I stumble under the weight of my foolish past. Let me selflessly live and walk as one with You today. In Your name I pray that You create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, freeing me from yesterday, focused on today and faithful about tomorrow. Make me a channel of Your peace and love, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 06/14/2012

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,

Abba Father one thing I know, but have yet to fully grasp if the more I seek You and the closer I feel to You the more I feel as if I am not from this world. Learning to walk as one with You through Jesus isn’t easy and there is much I don’t comprehend, but I do know the peace I feel and the love I feel defies logic. So I do all I know I can do, is look to You and ask that in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit that You create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus today. Make me a channel of Your peace and love, strength my faith as I stand having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

Abba Father my fallen nature makes me so quick to judge and react in ways I often regret. Only through Your love and truths am I able to move past myself overcoming myself if only for the moment to share oneness with You. Oh how I seek to be less of me and more of You. This is why I ask each day that in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit You create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus today. Make me a channel of Your peace and love. Make Your presence within me visible and use me for Your will and purpose. Ready me having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always asking that You bless me and mine in fulfillment of Your will and keep us from evil and pain; reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, let us spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 06/12/2012

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.

Abba Father here I sit thinking of what to pray; listening to Your word I begin to think what can I ask for, for You have blessed me and mine so much. Whom should I pray for, only those are still to not know You like I do. For I know all is in Your hands. I must not lose my taste for Your truths visible through the faith by which I walk as Jesus has taught me. I must remain obedient and fruitful in the Spirit so that like a light on a hill my spirit reflects love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control in all I do and say. I must start each day asking in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus. Standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Always knowing that You have and will bless me and mine if we seek fulfillment of Your will and You will keep us from evil and pain; always reminding us that if we get nothing else done this day, we are to spend it loving You and others first, as You love us. In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

My Daily Prayers and Readings for 06/11/2012

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Abba Father in stillness I find oneness with You and bring balance to the mind, body and soul. This helps me overcome my self so that as I walk everyone sees more of You and less of me. You see I know You are at work within me at all time, for nothing convicts me more than when I step out or speak out rather than letting You carry me out or let Your words speak through me. This is why each day I must start asking that in the name of Christ Jesus who lives within me through the Holy Spirit I pray that You create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me, for my one walk in and with Jesus today. Make me a channel of Your peace, standing having girded my waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which I will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
