Reading I Romans 6:19-23
Brothers and sisters:
I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your nature.
For just as you presented the parts of your bodies as slaves to impurity
and to lawlessness for lawlessness,
so now present them as slaves to righteousness for sanctification.
For when you were slaves of sin, you were free from righteousness.
But what profit did you get then
from the things of which you are now ashamed?
For the end of those things is death.
But now that you have been freed from sin and have become slaves of God,
the benefit that you have leads to sanctification,
and its end is eternal life.
For the wages of sin is death,
but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Formed: Sanctified by Obedience
Through Baptism, we die to the old man, Adam, and rise with the new man, Jesus. By putting on the robes of Christ, we are called to live as Christ did, being faithfully obedient to God. If we live in obedience to God, we will be sanctified and become more like his Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ.

My prayer…
Dear God, my Abba Father, Lord Jesus my Savior, Holy Spirit within me.
Jesus, You are the center of it all. It just takes some of us longer to wake up and realize this than others. We can’t walk two paths at the same time. We can only walk one path. We all must choose. The one we walk the most. The one that we are most passionate about. The one we truly seek. Is the one that we become.
Thank You for waking me up so I can be an example for mine and theirs. The path for all of us is different, each filled with obstacles that either separates us from You or brings us closer to You. I pray for the later. For me and mine, and theirs. Help us alway choose wisely. Choose Your path, by seeking Your will. Hear our prayers Lord, hear me now.
Not my will, but Yours Lord God.
Jesus, Mary, I love You, save souls.
In Jesus name I pray.
